This marks the first time Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao have jointly hosted the National Games.
The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is striving to pioneer new frontiers in China's modernisation drive,
in line with its strategic positioning as "a pivotal point in the new development paradigm,
a model zone for high-quality development, and a trailblazer for Chinese modernisation".
At this National Games, Guangdong has dispatched 1,880 athletes. "The sons and daughters of South
Guangdong remain steadfast in their loyalty to the Party, leading the way in reform and opening-up."
They shall uphold Guangdong's fine sporting traditions, remain mindful of their mission, live up to the trust placed in them,
and make fresh contributions to building a sporting powerhouse at both national and provincial levels!
The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has sent its largest-ever delegation to the National Games.
Its 1,362 athletes will compete in 28 competitive sports and
and 23 mass participation events. They will showcase the hospitality of this international sporting capital and
advance the integrated development of the Greater Bay Area's sports industry.
The Macao Special Administrative Region continues to promote sports development and vigorously advance mass fitness initiatives,
demonstrating innovative practices of "one country, two systems" in the sporting sphere. Macao athletes
will compete in 23 competitive sports and 14 mass participation events at this Games.

This edition of the Games features
37 delegations,
over 14,000 athletes,
and approximately 11,000 fitness enthusiasts competing.
Through their dedication and sweat, they will embody the spirit of sportsmanship,
uphold the Chinese sporting ethos, and write a splendid chapter!
